At Ashland High School Peace Club, teens work together to make positive change with a peaceful influential approach. Our students are working to raise funds to go to Thailand this upcoming summer with Habitat for Humanity to build houses for those less fortunate. ABOUT US
How we got started
Here at Peace to Thailand, we are a group of like minded individuals who are working together to be the change of the future. Our group got started about a year ago when Peace Club Founder and President Taylor Mortensen came up with a plan to bring students together and provide a space to talk about current events that were concerning and create a space where teens can do their part to be the change they want to see in the world. What started out as a few community events and weekly meetings turned into action. This summer our club is working with Habitat for Humanity to make it all the way across the world in order to build houses for families who are without.

Despite the beauty and rich culture of Krabi, many people live without access to fresh water and safe adequate shelter. These are necessities that we often take for granted. Our mission is to work tirelessly to give time and love to better the lives of families around the world.
